Newman, Louis Israel
(b. 1893)
   American rabbi and writer. He was rabbi of Temple Rodeph Shalom in New York, and taught at the Jewish Institute of Religion. He published Jewish Influence on Christian Reform Movements, The Jewish People, Faith and Life and The Hasidic Anthology.
